Because of new legislation effective on 10-1-2023 affecting criminal record checks on job applicants in the State of California, we feel that it will be necessary to obtain copies of any and all available court record information on any type of criminal record that comes up in a background check before it is reported to your firm. All of this obviously involves additional work on our part and will result in additional charges for such research and may well result in a delay in reporting information to you.
